Rating: 9.5/10
Describe in One Word: Epic
Available on: Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime Video

This episode of Attack on Titan delivers one of the most intense and visually stunning battles of the series - Levi versus Zeke. Coming off the high stakes of the Battle of Shiganshina, the fight showcases the raw brutality and skill gap between the two warriors. Levi, fueled by rage and years of combat experience, goes all-in against the Beast Titan, while Zeke, confident in his own overwhelming power, gets a brutal reality check.
Pacing & Execution
The pacing is near perfect. The episode balances the chaos of the battlefield with quiet moments of tension, making the action sequences hit even harder. One second, we see Levi absolutely tearing through titans at breakneck speed, and the next, we're locked into Zeke’s growing fear as he realizes he’s completely outmatched. The fast cuts and fluid animation make the fight feel visceral, but it never sacrifices clarity for spectacle.
Room for Improvement
If I had to nitpick, the episode could have given us a deeper look into Zeke’s psyche during the fight. We get his arrogance shattered, but it would have been interesting to see more of his inner monologue as he starts to panic.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this episode is a masterpiece in action storytelling. Levi’s speed, precision, and sheer dominance are exhilarating to watch, and Zeke’s reaction sells the terror of facing humanity’s strongest soldier. The fight is fast, brutal, and satisfying, though a bit more struggle from Zeke might have made it even more engaging. That said, it’s easily one of the best moments in Attack on Titan history.
