Genre - Shonen, Comedy

Rating - 7.5

Vybz

Themes

Imagine - Harry Potter, Black Clover, One Punch Man and a soundtrack full of 808 beats (in the anime) all combined to make one manga. I would call this one an action-comedy. Heavy on the action and heavy on the comedy. Gym-goers should definitely pick this one up or download asap.

Series Overview

This isn’t one of those 300+ chaptered manga that run for almost a decade with new villains and sagas every season. Mashle is a bingable 162 chapters and you will definitely feel satisfied upon completion. You won’t be left asking for a different ending or looking for answers to unanswered questions.

The MC & Other Key Characters

Mash Burnedead is an extremely likable m.c. His genuineness has a warm appeal and he can most definitely scrap like no other. Mashle will get stronger through the series but he certainly does not start off as an Osamu (World Trigger) or Deku (MHA). He can hold his own from chapter 1. Mash’s adversaries are entertaining. They are also built for the villain life and will entertain you with their exploits.

Pacing

The pacing of the manga is excellent. You go through intense battles, slice-of-life and training arcs.  The series climaxes at a point when you still retain a lot of enthusiasm as a reader. The stakes are global and at the same time you will be treated with magic, muscles and hilarious comedy. Mashle is most definitely a child of this generation. It has references to modern-day culture and the anime’s music is a vybz. It’s been a while since any manga or anime made me ‘Lol’ and Mashle has fantastic humour in every chapter.

Art & Animation

The manga has great detail and the character designs are pleasure to perceive. The anime is produced by A-1 Pictures and their staff have really brought this cultured series to life with vibrant colour, strong action sequences and a soundtrack to vybe to.

Conclusion

Read it! Watch it!
