Pacing & Raising The Stakes
Some storylines enable writers to have several peaks in their story that allows viewer's emotions to go up and down. Bleach has been able to do this well with its three seasons. This episode, we find ourselves in Yhwach’s final lair and another cool stage has been set for more exciting fights. Only the Elite Remain

Renji vs Uryuu
This was a majestic roaring fight (even though it was'n the longest). Episode 7 allowed both parties to show the best of themselves with a little back-and-forth. The animation was clean, the dialogue was just right and there a good mix of technical fighting, splashed with explosive tsunamis of energy attacks. Uryu has behaved in his role with intensity. We understand he has chosen his style but he still shows glimmers of inner conflict. Has he shown restraint?

The Captains and Vice-Captains
Am I the only one enjoying seeing the top ranking officers operate in these small units? A saw a little Naruto vybz (small powerful squads). It’s so satisfying seeing all the most popular and powerful shinigami manoeuvre shoulder-to-shoulder. Every time I saw Urahara with the Gotei 13, I was smiling. There were many wholesome moments as he interacted with his former comrades.

Allies
Episode 7 has given fans Nel and Grimmjow! Two more of the many allies we have seen this season that previously appeared in the series. Imagine Ulquiorra was here! The interactions felt natural under the circumstances. I would like to know more about the state of Hueco Mundo post-Aizen.

Spiritual Pressure
Let’s talk about spiritual pressure. The anime on a whole looks great but the reishi really stands out to me. I especially appreciate the texture, glow and minuscule dense particles flowing through.

This was a heart-racing episode and there is even more greatness to come
